Simple, the iPhone works on all models of GenevaSound
Geneva Sound and iPhone
There is a message about "audio interference" that appears when you connect an iPhone to any stereo from any company. All current models of Geneva Sound L and Geneva Sound XL work fine with iPhone - both the original iPhone and the new "3G" iPhone released in July 08. The message appears on the screen in this dialogue box: Despite the impression given by the message, Geneva works fine with iPhone. The dialogue box lasts for about 20 seconds. If you do nothing, the iPhone just keeps working as if the dialogue box never popped up. Whether you choose yes or no, the music playback function on the iPhone works just fine. If you choose Yes:

This dialogue box will not appear when an iPhone connects to the new GenevaSound Medium or GenevaSound Large in Walnut, new models made after Apple Inc released its new iPhone Authentication protocol late in 2008. As we replace inventory of existing models of Large and Xtra Large, the new protocol will be included. Meantime, all models of GenevaSound, with or without the new protocol, work fine with iPhone and are considered by independent reviewers as the best sounding systems for iPhone and all iPods in the market. |
